The Plant:
Eucalyptus radiata is an evergreen tree native to Australia, where it can grow up to 30 metres tall. There are over 700 species of eucalyptus, but radiata is considered one of the gentlest and most versatile for use with animals. Australian Aboriginals have used eucalyptus leaf infusions for centuries to treat fever, sinus congestion and colds. It is one of the most well researched essential oils available today.
